Yoga Healing Medicine

ToryonRock2.jpg

Tory Altree, a Certified Yoga Teacher, and graduate of Kurt Hill's Advanced Psychosomatic Character Therapy II Course, believes in the integration of therapeutic applications of yoga with Allopathic (Western) medicine. Her mission is to facilitate the awakening of the individual's power for self healing. In keeping with this goal, Tory assists clients in creating a holistic practice, including yoga poses, breathing, diet, and meditation. By stretching body, mind, and spirit, these rituals invite presence and awareness and enable a deep connection to self.

Tory has worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Rush University Medical Center and in a private Internal Medicine Group. She also worked as a Risk Consultant, authored continuing medical education courses, and sat on the Risk and Safety Advisory panel for a risk management company.

Since that time, Tory has been deepening her knowledge of yoga, relaxation and energy healing. Tory has studied extensively under Ganga White, Tracey Rich, and Daren Friesen, has participated in workshops with Tias Little, Bryan Kest, Martin Kirk and others.

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you are not."
